Sling Blade. Bad Santa. The Astronaut Farmer. Billy Bob Thornton, although most believable when playing a cranky ass, has taken on many different roles in his past movies.

The Sun has stated that Robert Englund is out and that Billy Bob is in. Mr. Thornton will soon add 'evil monster' to his his filmography as the infamous Freddy Krueger in a modern version of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
