Swiss luxury watchmaker Oris has unveiled its newest pilot's watch, the Big Crown Pointer Date. The new luxury timepiece delivers highly sophisticated hardware enclosed within a sleek, understated design.
The wristwatch arrives boasting two new standout features: an oversized crown and central hand that points to a date scale around the edge of the watch. Both of these elements are geared towards actual pilots, who rely on these custom features while flying.
In addition, the 38mm Big Crown Pointer Date comes equipped with the Oris Calibre 403 movement, a high-performance, in-house-built automatic belonging to Oris' premium Calibre 400 Series. The new movement features an enhanced anti-magnetism with 30 anti-magnetic parts. Moreover, the movement delivers an impressive five-day power reserve, which it achieves through the use of twin barrels, each housing its own extended mainspring.
