The Beyond Burger is headed to a variety of airport and train station bars across the UK thanks to a partnership with travel restauranteur SSP Group.
The partnership will see the plant-based burger rolling out at 13 locations starting with the Camden Bar at London Stansted and Brigg & Stow at the Bristol Airport starting October 24, 2024. Travelers will be able to find the burger at an additional six bar locations in December to coincide with the busy holiday travel season.
Head of Sustainability at SSP UK & Ireland Meredith Ford spoke on the launch of the Beyond Burger saying, "We strive to offer as much choice as we can for customers across all of our outlets. We’re proud to be working in collaboration with Beyond Meat to do this while also supporting our target that 30% of our own brand main meal options are plant-based or vegetarian to drive positive change across the food travel sector.”
