The Glenlivet and Lochcarron Present a New Bespoke Tartan
References: go.skimresources
The Glenlivet introduces a bespoke tartan theme to celebrate its iconic 200th anniversary. The distillery works together with Lochcarron, which is a tartan manufacturer to form a pattern that truly captures the single malt whisky through carefully selected colors and designs.
The pattern weaves the signature teal hue throughout the pattern and celebrates its Speyside roots. It features a blend of amber tones for a warm touch which also simultaneously reflects the golden hue of the whisky. All of this joins a larger campaign dubbed Taking Back Tartan which imagines the fabric for a modern audience.
Leading the campaign is Scottish actor Thomas Doherty -- he shares his excitement about his heritage and this campaign. "What a gift it is to be Scottish. When I think about my heritage, I feel a deep sense of pride and connection to something much older and deeper than myself. It's been so rewarding to work with The Glenlivet on this project that pays homage to the next generation of Scottish craftsmanship. The tartan print and The Glenlivet single malt scotch whisky are both so iconic to Scotland. It's been such a pleasure putting a modern spin on these Scottish symbols and sharing them with my friends in the US."
