Benny Gold SF Fog Series Bearbrick Gets Inspired by the San Francisco Bridge
Matt Ho — December 17, 2011 — Life-Stages
Medicom Toy is back once again with a new figure and this time, the company is drawing inspiration from San Francisco with the Benny Gold SF Fog Series Bearbrick.
Benny Gold is actually from San Francisco, so not only is the figure an homage to the city, it's an homage to the brand as well. With so many inspirations to draw from, the collaborative partners put their focus on an iconic landmark: the Golden Gate bridge. The design of the Benny Gold SF Fog Series Bearbrick revolves around the iconic fog that blankets the lower half of the bridge. So to translate that concept, the top of the figure is fully colored in red that eventually fades into white. The body of the Bearbrick has 'Benny Gold' written in a complementary italicized gold.
This is a great tribute to one of the most amazing cities in the world.
