As a big fruit lover I have to say I am super excited about the BeFresh Fruit Storage system. BeFresh Fruit Storage is a creative fruit container designed by Davide Pietrasanta to keep fruit fresher for longer.
The BeFresh Fruit Storage system keeps fruit fresh by utilizing a process called photocatalysis. Photocatalysis removes the gas ethylene that is naturally produced by fruits and kills up to 99.9% of bacteria. BeFresh is about the size of a large rice cooker and is designed for young people who may not have the biggest fridges in the world. The design of the device is solid, but my one request would be for some type of chilling feature. Room temperature fruit is nowhere near as good as chilled fruit. Nevertheless this is a great concept for individuals with tight fridge space.
