Budweiser is reducing beer prices as part of a social media promotion that is taking place in St. Louis, until the end of July. The reduced beer prices are coinciding with the local weather, where each time the temperature is above 95 degrees, the company will reduce the price of Bud Ice by $1 for each degree. Budweiser will also give away prizes to 25 of its followers in Missouri, each time the temperature rises above 100 degrees. Some of the prizes include inflatable pools, lawn chairs, and $20 gift cards.
The reduced beer prices and prizes are part of the 'Budweiser Chill zone Giveaway,' and may help to entice consumers to follow the brand on social media and buy the beverages
