Extra Butter Joins Reebok on a New BB 4000 II Sneaker
Extra Butter works in collaboration with Reebok on a limited edition iteration of the classic BB 4000 II sneaker model. It will be available at the Long Island City and the Lower East Side store locations later this week. To launch the new shoes, the two tapped local artist Jack Moore to help with the campaign and showcase how versatile the shoes can be. It started from the original BB footwear series by the sportswear imprint back in the 80s, where lifestyle design merged with basketball performance.
Speaking about the shoe, Bernie Gross, Extra Butter's Creative Director states, “The BB 4000 II comes from the design DNA of other retro throwbacks that people are more familiar with from Reebok, like the Club C. Once we got word that the BB was coming back, I saw it as a challenge to open the younger consumer’s awareness around an iconic Reebok option to add to their closet rotation.”
