Architecture firm LAVA has come up with a Y-shaped design for a hostel in Germany, titled the Bayreuth Youth Hostel. It's design is distinct due to this outline, which most hostels and buildings for that matter do not look like this.
According to DesignBoom "the scheme is conscious of attitudes held by generation-Y travelers, and seeks to provide a, funky design, and special identity with access to online and community experiences, not just a clean bed and shower." These features are so important in a hostel considering this is exactly what travelers are looking for when roaming around so far away from home.
The Bayreuth Youth Hostel aims to provide these much-appreciated comforts for travelers.
