Furniture retailer B&B Italia Outdoor released a new set of outdoor pieces entitled Bay Sofas, designed by Doshi Levien. The cozy pieces from the outdoor furniture collection welcomes the idea of warmer days to come. The Bay sofas are sculptural pieces with a braid woven foundation, softened by cushions and padded seats. Aimed to deliver ultimate relaxation, the seating unit is oversized and wraps itself around anyone who sits in it from the back and behind -- imitating a hug.
The back frame is crafted from aluminium, the internal frame is of tubular steel, the back cushioning is made from a blend of solotex fibers and polyurethane foam. Like many other outdoor furnishings, there is water repellent cover cloths and the Bay sofas are coated with PES fabrics.
