One step inside 'Bar Boutanique' in Amsterdam and patrons are transported to the Caribbean. Designed by Studio Modijefsky, the interior of the two storey cafe looks like what you might see when you go on vacation to a beach bar by the water.
As the name suggests, the restaurant is filled with palm trees, philodendron, ferns and monsteras. The interior is a lovely seafoam green color with a salmon painted accent wall. The cafe is adorned with wooden tables and chairs and pops of yellow and blue are brought through with the barstools and couches.
The added experience of the feeling like they're in the tropics gives patrons one more reason to choose Bar Botanique over other restaurants. Considering Amsterdam is already a tourist hot-spot, giving a cafe a novel design serves to bring in both locals and foreigners.
