The multi-disciplinary architecture and design firm 'Elevation Workshop' recently constructed a series of luxury hotel suits that are hidden behind a lush bamboo grove. China is known for its abundance of bamboo and this Beijing hotel manages to showcase the plant in a beautiful way.
'Why' is a luxury hotel located just outside of Beijing. The hotel features 27 timber-clad hotel suites that are all located around a beautiful kidney-shaped pool. The perimeter of the pool is surrounded by a lush bamboo grove that provides privacy for the hotel's many guests. The combination of the rising steam from the pool and the humidity from the screen of bamboo plants gives the hotel grounds a serene and relaxing atmosphere.
The tranquil hotel grounds demonstrate how natural elements can be used to enhance a modern space.
