Audible is Introducing Fitness and Meditation Programs Aimed at Beginners

Audible built a reputation as an illustrious audiobook provider but the newest expansion of the service introduces audio fitness programs. Launched through an alliance with Aaptiv -- an audio fitness app -- this new service will feature programs with personal trainers, guiding users through progressively challenging sets of workouts. Aside from the instructions given by the trainer, the audio fitness programs also utilize a soundtrack to maintain momentum and motivation.
The programs offered are currently free to Audible subscribers and feature a range of workouts as well as meditation programs. The first three of the courses are aimed primarily at beginners who are interested in outdoor running and stress-relieving meditation. Further routines will be released in the following weeks, though Audible has yet to make a statement as to whether those will be free or not.
