Michael Jackson’s “final curtain call” is due to kick off this year with 30 concert dates. The performer, infamous for his elaborate costumes, has had the auction of his personal effects canceled. Looks like someone might be short on costumes for his World Tour.
We are in a recession, people!
The auction was to be held by Julien’s Auction House and expected to generate at least $10 million. Among the items up for auction were the Triumph-era Socks with rhinestones, Military Jacket, and the sparkly glove which started a trend that should have never happened.
Jackson, whom I thought was broke, has settled with the auction house. I hope it covers the $2 million they spent putting that shindig together. Ouch.
