Wells Fargo is a US bank that has plans to upgrade its ATM machines to accept a new kind of ATM withdrawal. Rather than taking out cash in traditional ways, bank customers will soon be able to make the most of mobile payment services that use NFC technology.
As the bank explains: "When this feature is live, a customer will be able to initiate a transaction by signing into a leading mobile wallet—Wells Fargo Wallet, Apple Pay, Android Pay or Samsung Pay." After authentication, customers will be able to enter their PIN and complete their transaction as per usual.
With a rise in mobile phone usage, there are more and more solutions being offered for mobile withdrawals and payment across a variety of industries.
