Recently, Mezcal Verde Amarás introduced its new Artist Series, a bi-annual project which will commission six artists to create labels for the brand's bottles. The theme of the Artist Series is intimately tied to Mezcal Verde Amarás' philosophy. The inaugural iteration of the project invites artists to explore "‘the celebration and preservation of Mexican traditions of art and culture in pursuit of a BETTER WORLD." Mezcal Verde Amarás created this project in collaboration with the AndArt agency.
The 2023 Artist Series welcomes creatives Luvia Lazo, Curiot Tlapazotl, Melissa Avila (M.A Studio), Sergio Sánchez Santamaría, José Olivarez, and Ananas Ananas. The bottles with artist-designed labels will be available in limited editions online and at select retailers worldwide in May 2023.
