The Rosemont Hotel and Residences is a future conceptual hotel located in Dubai that is set to open its doors in 2018 and offer guests a slew of virtual and simulated experiences to explore, including an artificial forest. The space is the design work of the team at ZAS Architects and the 47-storey building will offer a virtual rainforest for visitors to experience in a way that incorporates animation and 3D-projections.
The hotel is aiming to offer a futuristic and tech-saturated stay to guests that includes entertainment facilities, 360-degree panoramic views and activity arenas that include sports such as trampolining, laser tag and bowling. The front lobby will house the simulated rainforest, presented as projected animations rendered in 3D design across both the floor, walls and ceiling.
