Trend Hunter often features the latest staggeringly beautiful trends in furniture, but for a change, how about some of the most off-the-wall seating you may come across? The only way to really describe these is, “Antisocial Seating.” Many of the designers were obviously not serious when they devised these, although some actually were, but all are entertaining in their extremes. The park bench for one is a great statement piece.
There is a whole collection created by the Lee Agency, “Fleeting Seating, the slightly uncomfortable chair collection” which is designed to help keep those boring office meetings short.
The steel round bench, as uncomfortable as it appears, was created to deter the homeless from spending the night.
Probably the grossest one is the Cheese Chair by Cosimo Cavallaro, Yuck!
