Belgian designers Ann Demeulemeester and Serax have worked together for their first collaborative furniture capsule aptly dubbed 'Ann Demeulemeester-Serax.' Demeulemeester explains that “I make something because I miss it, I want it, and I can’t find it." The new luxe line of furniture pushes boundaries through proportion and simple geometries to create a "natural dialogue."
Some of the materials that make up the capsule include velvet, canvas, wool, linen, and oak with a palette that is made up of progressive colors and textures. Overall, the collection is defined by many distinct elements including the long tapered legs that are seen supporting the Éloïs and Cora tables. The angles that are seen on the Malé and Stella table are inspired by the structures of origami, to name a few.
