It’s not every day that we’re likely to be put in a situation where we can openly gaze into the eyes of the wild animals roaming our world; except now we can thanks to this mesmerizing animal photography photo series.
Looking at a picture of a staring contest between animals may not be as surreal as it could be in the wild, but at least now we can at least just get a glance of the intensity found in their eyes. The brave photographer Sue Demetriou does a beautiful job of just that in her latest animal photography photo series, in which she captures the encounter between man and animal.
Having travelled to various wildlife parks, wetlands and zoos to get her images, Demetriou’s series almost portrays these animals “as unique individuals and reveals their aesthetic magic.”
