While the Animal Crossing games have previously been available to consumers with dedicated gaming consoles, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp introduces a gameplay experience that can be enjoyed from one's mobile device.
Previous Animal Crossing worlds have been set in towns, but as its name suggests, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is set in nature and has players take on the role of a campsite manager. Players are able to mingle with friends, decorate their site, craft furnishings, add amenities and customize their own camper. Within the app, users are also able to connect with one another and visit campsites made by friends and other players to get inspired.
Several popular Nintendo games are now being made over for mobile gamers, including beloved titles like Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda.
