There's analysis apps of all kinds available for smartphones. You can analyze your stock portfolio, exercise regimen, diet, favorite sports team and friends' social lives. However, this has got to be the first app I've seen that will analyze your urine for you.
Wait. Stop. Don't download the app and then pee on your smartphone. The uChek app doesn't work quite that way, thankfully.
Instead, users dip analysis sticks that are sold separately into the urine sample. Then, the user puts the stick down against a white background. The analysis app will then use the smartphone's camera to take time lapsed photos. uChek is capable of detecting up to 25 diseases through this method including urinary tract infections and diabetes. It can also determine chemical levels in the urine such as glucose and proteins.
