Amazon Seller is a standalone mobile app from Amazon, designed to make it easy for retailers to list and manage products for sale. Before this app was introduced, many Amazon sellers resorted to using third-party applications like SellerMobile to make transactions easily from a mobile device—as well as being inconvenient, usage of this app came at a cost of $5 per month for membership.
Amazon quickly remedied this with the free-to-download and use Amazon Seller, featuring tools for scanning barcodes, price checking, sales ranking, reviews and communication with consumers.
Since so many consumers favor mobile devices for shopping, it makes sense that sellers would too. Like Amazon Seller, a number of other online retailers have released comparable apps like Sell on Etsy app and AliSuppliers Mobile.
