The Amazon Echo Input launched exclusively in India as a portable, battery-powered version of the popular Amazon smart speaker. The Echo-branded smart speaker has the potential to last for up to 10 hours on a single charge and helps to satisfy the demand for one of the most requested device designs, as people have been asking for a smart speaker that can be carried from room to room.
The Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition shares the same functionalities of other Echo devices, with the exception that it doesn't need to be plugged into a power source in order to stream music, share weather updates, answer questions and more.
While the new Amazon Echo speaker is only available in India, Amazon has plans for the device to eventually make its way to North America.
