At first glance, the Aluminum Bench looks to be a typical park bench aside from the fact that it is made entirely out of metal -- aluminum and steel to be specific -- rather than wood. Upon closer inspection, however, it is clear that something funky is happening at its center. Twisting and rippling, the look is quite surreal, as though some kind of supernatural event is occurring right before our eyes.
Designed by Pablo Reinoso, the Aluminum Bench is stunning. Completely contemporary, it is definitely more art than a practical piece of furniture. Considering that there are only eight in existence, the limited edition Aluminum Bench will most certainly be a coveted piece of both art and furniture.
Although more suitable for a gallery than a home, the Aluminum Bench would fit into a contemporary space beautifully.
