Alpine unveiled a new concept vehicle titled the Alpenglow hypercar. This is a hydrogen-powered, track-focused car with a design language that is reminiscent of both Formula 1 vehicles and high-end consumer race cars. This is a single-seater that aims to set the stage for Alpine's hypercar designs going forward, even if this car itself does not ever see production.
The design of the Alpenglow features a wide LED lightbar at the front grille, combined with an illuminated Alpine logo and Alpine branding on the sides of the hood. The name Alpenglow comes from the term for the red-colored glow that appears on snow-covered Alpines, or mountain peaks, staying true to the automaker's namesake.
In addition to the Alpenglow, Alpine is currently working on production vehicles in collaboration with Lotus, as well as its own first-party lineup of electric vehicles. It is important to note that the company does not operate in North America, and its products will not reach the continent officially.
