'Alone in a Crowd' by Rolf Sachs is a beautiful art installation which features crowds of miniature people on a long table hidden behind a piece of glass. The work represents people from all walks of life grouped together.
The piece of art definitely makes you think; I know I was especially triggered by the title of Rolf Sachs' piece. 'Alone in a Crowd' reminds me of the world today -- billions of people coexisting on a vast surface, many of whom are alone. Depressing, but probably true.
