SweetWater Brewing Company, the Atlanta-founded craft brewery that is among the top 10 biggest craft brewers in the U.S. and is a subsidiary of Tilray Brands, welcomed the arrival of the warmer summer months with the launch of a special-edition all-American lager whose patriotic credentials are emblazoned on the can art, which features red, white and blue hues.
This all-American lager comes in at 4.5 percent ABV and makes use of a premium Pilsner grain bill in conjunction with Hallertau and Crystla hop varieties, which give it a delicious flavor and make it ideal for easily accessible drinking experiences. The beer was made available at SweetWater taprooms as well as for sale in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans.
Ty Gilmore, president, U.S. beer over at Tilray, said the lager pays homage to great American craft lager. "We hope the refreshing and crisp American lager will be a staple at backyard barbecues, tailgates, and get-togethers this summer," Gilmore said.
