Alabama Bans Sex Toys, But Okay with Guns

It's okay to own guns in Alabama, but the state is not okay with sex toys. A three-judge panel unanimously upheld the statute in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Implications - As the statute states, it is "unlawful for any person to knowingly distribute any obscene material or any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human organs." Since 1998, the suit seeking to repeal this statute has been brought before the 11th Circuit three separate times. Although each attempt has been successful, the Alabama chapter of the ACLU expects to continue trying the case on behalf of the plaintiffs they represent. Needless to say it is definitely a very stimulating case.
