The Air Jordan 1 High 'Anodized' is Holographic and Uniform

Jordan Brand has unveiled an upcoming colorway for its Air Jordan 1 High, the 'AJ1 Anodized.' This sneaker has literally had its outer shell anodized through an electrochemical process, giving it a metallic look and a durable feel. The entirety of the sneaker, with the exception of the toe vamp and the eyestay, is covered in a metallic anodized blue color. The toe vamp and eyestay are decorated in a dark black mesh. Lastly, the Nike logo appears in dark black on the upper of the shoe.
The AJ1 Anodized boasts the same high form factor of the AJ1 High, meaning it is a large and bulky shoe compared to regular AJ1s. However, this bodes well for consumers who want to make a bold, chromatic statement, as there is more surface area to cover in a chromatic blue. This shoe was originally unveiled by Dearica Hamby, a hooper in the WNBA, though it is expected to go live on Nike's online store in the coming months.
