These Air Max Custom Shoes Take a Cue From Dunkin’ Donuts
Jonathon Brown — February 17, 2013 — Fashion
Thanks to these Air Max custom shoes, you can walk into Dunkin’ Donuts with sneakers to match. The Air Max “Coffee & Donuts” custom shoe takes its colorway and style from Dunkin’ Donuts branding. The shoes don't include any explicit reference to the coffee shop chain, however.
Using orange and pink, Ecentrik tapped into the well known visual cues from Dunkin’ Donuts branding and even put a pair of donuts on the heel of the right shoe and a coffee mug on the heel of the left. However, instead of the mug reading “Dunkin’ Donuts,” it reads “Ecentrik.”
Aside from the colorway and heel design, these Air Max custom shoes also feature icing drips throughout the side of the shoe.
