Fans of Drunk Elephant's Virgin Marula Oil will soon be able to appreciate a new hybrid retinol-oil formulation called A-Gloei Maretinol Oil, which enhances the familiar formula with a low-grade 0.5% retinol. This beginner-friendly retinol product is beneficial for evening out texture, refining and clarifying the skin, and in a way that reduces the risk of irritation and redness thanks to its soothing formula. Alongside virgin Marula oil and retinol, the skincare oil contains plant-derived ceramides and soybean oil.
A-Gloei Maretinol Oil gets its name from the straightforward features of the product; 'A' stands for Vitamin A and Tiffany Masterson explained to Refinery29 that "The 'Gloei' actually means 'Glow' in Afrikaans, which speaks to the Marula oil in the formula, which is sourced from Namibia."
