There have been some clever ideas when it comes to lessening our increasing sedentary tendencies, but Active Furniture (in my books, at least) might just take the cake. Spanish designers Virginia Pol, Ferran Lajara and Cristina Guardiola have taken it upon themselves to revolutionize the way we see furniture in order for us to tap into our more primitive roots by making us work for our ‘necessities.’
