From elegant and refined to playful and bold, the Acapulco Chair offers a range of seating for almost any personality and taste. The crafted aesthetic to these pieces of furniture is entirely intentional and adds a touch of rustic charm; the design is inspired by a Mayan weaving technique. Nevertheless, the Acapulco Chair could easily fit into any type of decor.
Designed by Ocho Workshop, the Acapulco Chair was originally conceived in Mexico around the 1950s. With an updated look, it is definitely more suited for contemporary lifestyles now. Full of charm, character and authenticity, each Acapulco Chair is entirely crafted by hand in their workshop located just outside of Acapulco, hence its name. I love that the Acapulco Chair isn't too tightly woven.
