A Perfect Circle has finally returned with their first album in 14 years, 'Eat the Elephant.' While the highly anticipated release does deserve merit as an impressive album, the band decided to offer a unique version of the release to accompany the music. As part of the album's deluxe edition, the set will allow listeners to enjoy the experience as a hologram album. This is being touted as the first of its kind and will accompany the music of A Perfect Circle amazingly.
The hologram features a 58-minute visual recreation of the album and was created by documentarian Steven Sebring. The visual hologram will follow the 12-track arc of Eat the Elephant and will feature the story of the album through the eyes of a young girl. To view the hologram, users will need an accompanying smartphone app, as well as a prism, placed upside down on the screen. A Perfect Circle worked closely with Sebring on this project and claim that their 14-year break allowed technology to finally catch up with their music.
