By 2030 in Mexico, Alzheimer's disease patients will double, making early detection the only precautionary measure to decrease its impact and provide a better quality of life. Moreover, 90% of elders have not taken an Alzheimer's disease test to detect it.
To change this, Radio Formula, Alzheimer Foundation and Leo Burnett launched 'Dialnostics'. A way to detect Alzheimer's disease symptoms is by the tone and pauses in people's voices. Due to the latter a team of experts decided to analyze the voice of people calling to a popular radio program targeted to the elderly and compered it with people who had Alzheimer's disease.
People who matched the speech pattern and had higher probability of having early stages of the disease were then called for a free consultation
