British label Paul Smith gave the iconic 1965 Porsche 911 Racer car a bold makeover with its iconic stripe design. The classic car was displayed in its latest multi-tonal iteration at the Le Mans Classic car event earlier this week. Paul Smith's stripe designs covers both the interior and exterior of the 911 Racer -- seeing vibrant hues of dark green, petrol blue, orange and pink. The seat cushions inside are finished in the blue and the roll cage received the dark green color.
Notably, the wooden gear shift is signed by Paul Smith, along with the continued stripe design throughout the floor and tub of the car. This collaborative project resembles the deep-rooted connection between the British fashion label and cars.
