Louis Vuitton S/S 2009

Seeing the photos of Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2009 makes me reminiscent of the eighties even though I tended to stay away from the outrageous styles.
Vuitton implements bold and solid color patterns in his designs as they are featured on mini-skirts, mini-dresses, sexy mini-coats, and even pants--although I’m not crazy about padded shoulders, regardless of the cool color effect.
The styles look fun, flirty and sexy. And of course, what fashion wouldn’t be complete without some cool accessories like clunky earrings, mega-necklaces, bright-colored shoes, and fringe purses?
The video of Vuitton’s show is well worth watching because now it appears that the dreaded ‘80s hair may be on its way back. Huge poufy bangs that stand two-inches tall and punk hair styles are all over the runway. Another hair style featured prominently on Vuitton’s models was a slicked-back top and side with a ginormous fuzzy poodle-like ponytail.
