The 70% Table is inspired by the designer's favorite dark chocolate. Even before taking in the name, people will recognize the the shape. The 70% Table looks just like a segmented chocolate bar despite the different colors it comes in (even the pink and blue options). As long as no one tries to break off a piece to eat, the design is deliciously playful.
Created by Icelandic product designer Anne Þórunn, who has an affinity for whimsical home decor, the 70% Table is much more subtle than some of her previous designs. Although it looks like a chocolate bar, it could easily be taken as a simple piece of furniture with some nice grooved detailing. It is made out of solid oak.
