Costco is famous for its budget-friendly, in-store food court and now the chain is stepping up its game by adding a $5 Açaí Bowl to its menu. Just like the store's popular hot dogs and pizza slices, the new dish will give consumers an easy way to fuel up on the go, without spending a fortune.
Costco's new $5 Açaí Bowl is a gourmet smoothie bowl that serves as a perfect breakfast or mid-day snack. Just like the smoothie bowls served in hip cafes and restaurants, Costco's version features an icy açaí berry smoothie topped with strawberries, blueberries, and a crunchy banana chip and granola crumble. But unlike the versions found in cafes, the Costco smoothie bowl sells for just $5 a pop.
