Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the fairest art of all? If you are asking a mirror this question, it would (if it could) reply that Peter Marigold does. His art plays with concepts of symmetry and he uses mirrors in many of his pieces to create a three-dimensional version of the well known Rorschach tests (more widely known as inkblot psych tests).
His art is all about individual interpretation. He urges people to look at the plaster reflected in the mirror to create an illusionary 3D representation and draw from their own past and imagination what it is they mean or represent.
Marigold is a proud winner of the “Designers of the Future 2009” awards in Miami.
