Three-dimensional printing has been on the rise in popular mechanics for the past decade; however, there hasn't been a crazy amount of consumer use -- that is, not until the Disney 3D-Printed lighting for toys is released. Disney plans to change yet another industry by making consumer toys forever with these glowing goodies.
These 3D glow toys are primed with newly printed light features. The toys will have infused light pipes, tubes and other ways to control light printed inside the toy. As it stands right now, the toys might need a bit more time to develop because the consumer potential is slim, considering how expensive the product is to manufacture at this time. Regardless, this proves Disney will always be one step ahead.
