The Kurth Residence was deigned by NMA Architects to provide its fortunate inhabitants with a 360-degree view from the foothills of Santa Barbara California.
The house has three bedrooms, four bathrooms and is 5,203 square feet. The large outdoor pool goes to the edge of the property, allowing its occupants to look onto scenery as they swim. The rounded concrete walls of the house give it the 360-degree view, which includes the pacific Ocean, the Los Padres mountains and the city.
The Kurth Residence is said to be "an architectural design that is an expression of their vision of the quintessential 'California contemporary lifestyle'," meaning that it incorporates the indoor and outdoor environments into one as well as a surplus of extravagant features. The home also has an eco-friendly design, equipped with an energy-conserving green roof and "solar thermal hydronic and PV arrays."
