The stunning annual 2013 White Cashmere Collection filled with bathroom tissue dresses and accessories took place on September 25th.
The fashion show featured beautiful models wearing pieces by designers such as David Dixon that were made entirely of bathroom tissue. This year, pink gowns made out of Cashmere paper also hit the runway as designers were raising awareness and funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Many of the outfits incorporated both white and pink for a pop of color.
Looking at these pieces, it's hard to believe they are made entirely out of tissue. David Dixon explains that it's a lot of fun to use this material, as it forces designers to step outside their comfort zone and try something different.
When asked about what he enjoys most about the show, the talented designer shares that it's not about the competition but rather "the whole idea of the cashmere experience is to inspire."
