Windmills are an age-old concept, but what about wind and air-powered cars, watches and skyscrapers? The environmentally-friendly innovations in the slideshow below highlight the variety of ways in which the wind can be harnessed for clean, renewable power.
My favorite wind and air-powered innovations below are the sports cars. Many of them are powered by both the sun and wind—making them perfect for sunny California.
