From Record Canvases to Vinyl Jewelry
Brooklyn Fisher — September 4, 2009 — Pop Culture
Not that long ago, every home had their very own turntable to play the latest record on. Now unless you are a DJ spinning your own breaks, the days of everyday listening to records as a form of entertainment are long gone.
Although it seems old school, many people still love the vinyl record. Because of the symbol of retro and cool, the record is still making statements in creative and artistic ways.
Implications - Many consumers in today's modern society relish in those products that are able to transport them back to simpler times, such as during their childhood or adolescence. Businesses that create products with retro or vintage-like qualities will benefit by appealing to a large percentage of today's population.
