From Coiling Vegetable Slicers to Veggie-Shaped Mixers
Laura McQuarrie — July 23, 2014 — Art & Design
There's an overwhelming number of slicers, dicers and other vegetable kitchen tools available on the market, but it is helpful to have the right tool for the right job. Whether you're cutting up lettuce, making spiral veggie noodles or making sliver-thin carrot pieces, most of these devices are devoted to making sure that these tasks are made as fast, easy and efficient as possible.
In addition to being high-performance, a lot of these designs are quite novel in their appearance, with designs that allude to their specific purpose. Although there can be a number of steps required to make some sort of vegetable-based dish, these tools simplify the process and make it easy to wash, chop and store food efficiently as it makes its way from the counterop to table.
