Umbrellas are no longer just used as functional items to help keep us dry when it’s raining. As these umbrella innovations show this traditional piece of rain gear can be used for everything from fashion accessory to architectural design to a photo browser and everything in between.
Of course, the original intent of the umbrella, to shield us from wet weather, has not been lost. Many of these umbrella innovations serve several differing functions, making them creative, functional and fun--a definite reason to sing in the rain (some will even do this for you).
