Seaweed, kelp and algae might be nasty to look at, but they are incredibly essential to the balance of the ecosystem.
In order to show a little love for the marine life which usually gets cast aside as an annoyance, we are bringing you 10 sea scum selections. Check them all out, from ale powered cars to seaweed biofuel. I have to say, I am already feeling bad about calling it them scum.
