Many of us grew up with a Polaroid camera, and fondly remember how much of a chore it was to take a photograph instantly. Not only were packages of film heinously expensive for a child's allowance, but they only contained enough film for 10 photos.
Polaroid announced in 2008 that they would cease the production of their beloved cameras, and a counter-movement to rescue the iconic film immediately began. Now there are websites with filters to let you create your own Polaroid photography even without the camera.
